Selling Books
While selling used textbooks on Textbookology it is your responsibility to list a textbook accurately to keep buyers happy!
- Take a look through your copy to see if there's any defect's such as highlights, or underlining.
- Is the binding intact?
- Are there stickers or residue on the cover?
- Avoid describing textbooks materially different than described by reviewing our book guidelines.
- Most importantly make sure your listing the right book double check author, edition, and ISBN to prevent headaches when your book is sold.
The class is over, you aced the final, but you’re unlikely to ever consult your Intro to Philosophy textbook ever again. You can continue lugging it around, or store it in your mom’s attic, but why? It doesn’t take a logic class to know it makes the most sense to pass the used textbook along to someone else who can get some use of it. And pay you in return. In other words, sell that baby!
On textbookology.com, we make it simple and convenient for you to sell used textbooks directly to other college students and we don’t even take a commission! Listing your cheap used textbooks is easy, and then you just wait for a buyer to contact you.
To make your textbook exchange go smoothly, remember to list the condition of your textbook accurately and honestly. It’s all right to sell a textbook with underlining, highlighting, or stickers on the cover – just be up front about those things. And most importantly, double check and accurately list the author, edition and ISBN, so there are no surprises on either end of your textbook exchange.
Once you’ve received a secure payment from a trustworthy source like Paypal or Google Checkout, we suggest you ship your used textbook via Media Mail through the USPS. Delivery confirmation is strongly suggested for your textbook exchange. In the event of a mix-up, it’ll be the best $.75 you ever spent.
Package your used textbooks carefully and get them in the mail as soon as possible. Intro to Philosophy might be useless to you, but someone else is waiting for it anxiously!
